Worship Committee of Council

The Worship Committee is in support of these two Presbytery goals:

Provide resources for the promotion of healthier congregations

• By providing meaningful and inspiring corporate worship for the body of the Presbytery;
• By supporting church musicians who serve within Presbytery worship services;
• By example, exhibiting different styles of worship for the body of the Presbytery;
• By publishing the annual prayer calendar for the nurture of congregations; and
• By providing A/V resources as required by the host church, as well as other resources to which our team has access.

Promote and nurture the sense of belonging in this community

• By involving a variety of presbyters in the worship service, from highlighting particular pastors to preach the Word, to scripture readings and special dramatic presentations; and
• By partnered with the Care Committee to bring the prayer concerns that they embrace to our community in the context of worship.
