The Resource
Center
The Newton Presbytery Resource Center is
your lending library. We are here to serve the individual members of
our churches, including - pastors, teachers, families and children,
church leaders, elders, deacons, and committees.

There are thousands of items in the Resource Center. We keep our resources
current, removing those items that have outlived their usefulness, and
adding new items continually. We gratefully accept donations of new and
lovingly used items as well. The
Resource Center is Your Library!
A
conference area is available for meetings in the Resource Center.
Reserve your date and time by contacting the office. A VCR is available
for use during your meetings, to preview any of the videos before
borrowing, or for your children to use while you are attending your
meeting. In fact, children are always welcome to stay and relax in
the bean bag chair, and watch one of our many children's videos.
Come
and Visit!
We
encourage all of our congregations to hold at least one committee
meeting in the resource Center, so you and your churches can
become more familiar with our center and what we have to offer.
We invite your suggestions for new resources and subject areas.
The Resource Center Committee meets bimonthly to oversee the
purchases, maintenance, and promotion of the center. If you are
interested in serving on this committee, please contact the office

Center Regular Staffing Hours
Staffing
hours for the Resource Center: The
Resource Center is always open from 9am-4pm, Tuesday-Friday
and Mondays
9am-8pm. The Center is staffed Monday, all day, from
9am-8pm and Tuesday
from 9am-3pm.

Borrowing
Policy
Materials
in the Resource Center are for the use of members within Newton Presbytery,
including ministers, elders, deacons, teachers, and laity alike. Items
may be borrowed for up to one month, or longer by prior arrangement, and
may be renewed by contacting the Resource Center of the Presbytery Office.
To be fair to all our borrowers, we must bill for replacement of overdue
items after two notices have been sent out. Materials
can be reserved by contacting the Resource Center. Reserved items can
be mailed to you directly upon your request, or you can pick them up at
the Presbytery office. You can also pick up and return items at any Presbytery
meeting, at the portable display located outside the door of the Resource
Center.
