MEET THE …

YOUTH ADVISORY DELEGATE AND ALTERNATE

YOUTH ADVISORY DELEGATE
ELIZABETH HEYER – Junior at Wilson College,
Chambersburg, PA – PC in Harmony

Elizabeth is majoring in religion and environmental studies. She serves as a Resident Advisor, as secretary for Student Government Association and a member of the Campus Activities Board. She plans to attend seminary after graduation from college; her intention is to enter the ministry. When she was in high school, she served her church on the Board of Deacons, taught Sunday and Vacation Bible School. She plans to intern at a church in San José this summer. She feels that she can learn a lot at GA and contribute as well.

YAD ALTERNATE
ROBERT BRUCE - 19 – sophomore at Cornell University
First PC, Franklin

Very active in church since third grade, Robert uses his musical talents to honor God: he sings in the choir, plays trombone and in the hand bell choir, has served on various committees. At school, he belongs to and manages the business of a co-ed Christian a capella group and is active in the Protestant Cooperative Ministry, where he sings in the choir, leads devotions and holds a weekly Bible study. He is Chemistry major, but is also exploring a possible call to ministry. He wants to attend General Assembly as a YAD as a part of a life serving Christ.
